Plant Facility Policy

BARD incorporates sustainable green building practice whenever possible.  We aim for LEED-EB, LEED Platinum and Living Building standards for our corporate offices, campuses and production facilities.  We are committed to achieving net-zero energy and net-zero water practice when feasible.  We urge our partner companies and suppliers to join us in achieving these standards.

BARD has identified and is developing several brownfield sites worldwide.  This brownfield re-development practice serves two of BARD’s missions, to practice green building, and to revitalize economically distressed (industrial) zones.  While BARD has a presence and is developing in democratic allied countries, we are first committed to the economic revitalization, environmental integrity and energy independence of the United States.
